With this service we can test your barcode artwork to determine whether or not it will scan well.
This is not an official Barcode Verification Report (which costs $59) as required by some Supermarket and Hardware chains. But it is a test using the same equipment and giving the same information.
This test will be done on your Artwork – so you can have more confidence about the quality of the barcode before you go to print – or it will tell you what problems there are with the barcode artwork.
To have this test, please purchase the quantity you require below and then email a pdf of the barcode artwork to us. The pdf must be A4 or smaller in size and 100%. We will print it on a laser printer in B&W (so it won’t test any other print colours) and test it, then email the report to you.

“Do I Need Barcode Verification?”
Some retailers require Barcode Verification for all new products entering their stores. Please check with your retailer to see whether this is required. Other companies conduct these tests themselves on new products they are accepting.
Verification Reports can also be performed on your artwork before printing. This is a good way to determine whether your barcode is likely to be readable when it is finally printed. NOTE that Verification Reports on barcode artwork do not guarantee that the final printed barcode will scan well – as there can be errors in the final barcode printing process.
The safest process is to get a Barcode Verification report performed on your artwork and another verification report for your final printed product.
If you would like a Verification Report (for your artwork or final printed barcode), please purchase below and send us a copy of your barcode. Post or courier the final printed barcode to us (as printed on its label or packaging). Our address is on our contact page.

These are used for library books and gym membership cards as well as asset tracking in large businesses. We can supply code 128 or code 39 barcodes in your preferred format – either jpeg, pdf, eps, tiff or bmp.
Please advise what format you want (e.g. jpeg), what size barcodes you want (e.g. 3cm wide x 2cm high), what sequence you would like (e.g. 1000 barcodes, starting at 39123000 and ending at 39123999) and which type of code you want (e.g. Code 128).
Once we receive your order, we will manually create the barcodes for you, and email them to you. This will normally take 12-24 hours (between Monday-Friday) depending on the time of day/week that you make the order.
